Relief 2.0 is Going to Japan on Business. We need to start working with the disaster survivors and turn them into entrepreneurs before they are turned into refugees by the conventional relief system.
Crisis can be a powerful business incubator and social, participative and inclusive business might be the smartest, most efficient disaster recovery strategy of all.
When disaster strikes, the physical infrastructure is destroyed, but human capacity remains and if anything, it is made stronger.
